Cyrillic

So, I have been trying learn Russian for a little bit. Most of the time I end up getting frustrated, because Russian uses the Cyrillic alphabet instead of the Latin one we use in English. I look at the Cyrillic symbols and I have no idea what sound they are supposed to make or how to pronounce the words.

In the language learning class I have been in last week and this week I have found some new ways to learn languages. Today, I bought flash cards with the phonetic pronunciation on them with the Russian word and I got a “My first Russian words” book. Its a start.
